About the restaurant

A table where everyone eats from the same plate

La Reine de Saba brings the flavours and the hospitality of Ethiopia to the 11th arrondissement. Everything starts with injera — the soft, tangy flatbread we still make the traditional way — and with the berbere and mitmita spice blends that give our stews their depth.

There are no individual plates here. Dishes arrive together on one large platter, and you eat with your hands, tearing injera and sharing as you go. It is how Ethiopians eat at home, and it turns dinner into something closer to a conversation.

  • Hand-made injera, prepared fresh for every service
  • Generous vegetarian and vegan platters — no meat stock, no shortcuts
  • A large downstairs room for groups, birthdays and family gatherings
  • Traditional Ethiopian coffee, roasted and brewed to close the meal
